CrossFit offers elite fitness training to everyone under the constant guidance of a professional trainer. Our classes and private training are based on the CrossFit program originally developed by legendary coach Greg Glassman, and are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) performed at high intensity.

 

 

The workouts themselves can be modified, which means newcomers and veteran CrossFitters can perform the same workout with changes in load and intensity. We have clients of all ages, shapes and sizes participating in our classes, and we scale the workouts according to each person’s experience and ability level. CrossFit workouts allow athletes to achieve their fitness goals, and can also be a successful complement to a sport-specific training program. In general, our workouts are designed to improve strength, speed, power, flexibility, coordination, endurance, stamina, accuracy, agility and balance.

 

 

CrossFit Avalanche was founded by Myles Lewis and Travis Weaver in 2009, and CrossFit Blizzard was opened in 2010. Most locals have a love for some or all of the recreation that our mountain environment has to offer – skiing, snowboarding, Nordic, cycling, mountain biking, running, hiking, paddling, etc. CrossFit is a tool to increase athletic performance for any and all sports.
